Naawi-Oodena is positioned to be Canada’s largest urban reserve, carved out of a mature community in Winnipeg. Its importance is demonstrated by the commitment of Treaty One First Nations who envisioned this place over 20 years ago. In collaboration with HTFC Planning + Design and Brook McIlroy Indigenous Design Studio, our project team was selected to develop the design guidelines for the urban reserve.
