Robin Jones

Intermediate Reconciliation Consultant

Robin is Ojibway and Potawatomi and a proud member of Neyaashiinigmiing (Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation). She was born and raised in community, it was her first way of knowing and being. Belonging to the Otter clan, Robin carries out many aspects of the clan’s roles and responsibilities within her work, in particular, she has a passion for developing and delivering education, initiatives, and strategies that create space and place for Indigenous people and knowledges through a supportive and collaborative approach.

Robin currently serves on the Indigenous Advisory Circle for Grey Roots Museum, is a board member with Women in Communications and Technology – Waterloo Region Chapter, and is a founding director of Noongwa Gamig Incorporated, an Indigenous non-profit with a focus on wholistic health.

Robin loves spending time with family and friends, travelling, beading earrings, catching sunrises, being on the water and walking in noopimiing (in the woods).
