Patti Black

Patti has over 35 years’ experience building partnerships and collaboration between diverse groups across Canada. She facilitates productive interaction, identifies and encourages individuals’ strengths, and nurtures effective group dynamics. As the Lead of the Strategic Relationships Management Service Basket at NVision, Patti is passionate about bringing people together to build momentum for a common purpose and has worked for decades with Modern Treaty organizations and Self-Governing Indigenous Governments to ensure their agreements are honoured and fully implemented.

In her volunteer life, Patti is the Chair of Welcome Home Ministries, a three-parish refugee support group focused on successfully settling newcomers into Canada; and she coordinates a regular hot meals outreach program for hungry students at Queen’s University. In her free time, Patti enjoys whipping up delicious family dinners, cycling, back-country canoeing and tending to her community food forest project.

Patti is a Board Member at Large on the 2026 NVision Board of Directors.
