Mieke is a skilled facilitator, policy analyst and project coordinator. She has worked on projects dealing with food security, inter-governmental affairs, housing, small and medium business, and self-government and modern treaties. Mieke currently works with the Self-Governing Indigenous Governments team in Canada’s Collaborative Self-Government Fiscal Policy Process and provides support to the Land Claims Agreements Coalition. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics. When she is not working, she loves hiking, skiing, playing basketball and trying out new baking recipes in the kitchen.
